I beat it eventually!
Off to Toronto for a few days, I have comics till the end of the month lined up, so if I crash due to a friend feeding my an explosive pie, you will have comics till then.

Where to begin… I sold 9 copies of Ham and Clock #1 woot! which means Marc owns more than 10% of them! It also means that the money made from selling them went to the food bank! all $14 hot dogs for all!.
While we are on the subject of Ham and Clock, go buy Merc #1 penciled by Daniel Schneider of local artist fame, and fan of Ham and Clock, so much they make a guest appearance! That’s right Ham and Clock are in an actual professional comic… disturbing I know!
Here is the cover, I got Dan to sign mine, and draw a Ham on it, then he dropped it, then he drew a Kermit the Frog on it.

I haven’t read it yet, but Ham and Clock are seen in a strip club, so that should give you an idea of the story

So, looks like I did something bad… Ham and Clock #1 will be going on sale Dec 30, at Happy Harbor Locations. Its a limited run, so we’ll see how it sells, I will publish an electronic copy of it, Jan 4thish, only $2!

Additionally, there is going to be some events going on at all the HH locations, I will keep you updated as I know more:
Dec 30, 7pm Comic Jam at HH2 (I think that might change) I will gladly allow you to hit me with a copy of HC1 that you bought.
Jan 2nd, might be something
Jan 3rd, at HH1, will be helping to make a comic in 6 hours, with actual good cartoonists. This will be to help raise donations for the Edmonton Food Bank. Additionally I will be putting a part of any sales of HC1 to the food bank, the best they can do is $25, so I might have to get them some soup or something.

Indie Week is coming! but what the heck is it?
Well the major publishers are to lazy to distribute books 52 weeks a year, but the people (the people being comic geeks) demand new comics every week. So as a way to promote independent comics, we have declared this our week. Meaning our comics will actually get main shelf access! pretty cool. Well mine won’t but you know the good indie comics will
There is a blog to check out for more factual information: Indy Comic Book Week
Anyway a group of local artists, are once again building up their books etc to help celebrate. There may even be a signing night, meet the creators party thing. Nerd fun at its finest, but I will keep you posted.
My humble contribution will be my 24 hour comic, edited, and turned in to Ham and Clock #1 which I have been talking about doing for a long time, but this time, I am actually 95% done, and hope to have it printed on Saturday.
So as per usual it will be available at Happy Harbor, or you can corner me in an alley and steal a copy, then beat me with that copy, possibly read it, throw it on the ground beside my broken body and then piss on the pair of us. Yeah, that’d be nice.

Hey,
you may have noticed some changes… minor ones involving updating WordPress and ComicPress updates… so expect more in the next few days as I get the side graphic working again. In the mean time enjoy the smiley face

First off I would like to say a big thanks to all my sponsors for the 24 hour comic challenge. As a group we raised just over three thousand dollars! Besting last years donations.
I got there early to secure a spot at table power, an on going theme between Dan and I, basically we yell Table Power a lot… much to the annoyance of table quiet.
I am please to say though even through my sleep deprived craze, I completed Ham and Clock #1, which I will be putting into an Ashcan aiming for December’s Indy Celebration (more details about that later)
Speaking of AshCan’s you can check out my story “Mary’s Code” in Dog Cannon AshCan Anthology #1

You can pick up your copy at Happy Harbor or bug me for a copy.
